Teaching and other additional activities
The doctoral student recruited on a doctoral contract may possibly devote 1/6 of his working time to teaching, dissemination and scientific mediation, valorization and European cooperation or even business expertise and consulting activities or in community.
At Sorbonne University, participation in these activities, also called doctoral missions, is coordinated by the doctoral college. The doctoral student who wishes to carry out a doctoral mission must submit an online request on the doctoral college website.
The number of missions assigned each year depends on the requests of the different departments concerned.
